The Position
We are seeking a reliable operations professional to ensure seamless day-to-day operations for our firm. This position manages the D.C. office, effectively coordinating tasks between remote employees and associates. Excellent communication and organization skills are required to balance multiple ongoing tasks and ensure all stakeholders remain informed. The preferred candidate will also have an enthusiasm for training as well as the patience that is required for developing employees.
This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and the candidate must reside within a commutable distance to the Washington, D.C. office or be willing to relocate as physical presence is required.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Management Duties
- Supervises associates, fostering teamwork and engagement among the team.
- Assigns tasks and helps associates prioritize, ensuring the team can see the big picture and understand the impact of their work.
- Coordinates data support between the associates and compliance staff, ensuring associates are trained on and apply the skills they need to progress.
- Serves as back-up for the team.
Administrative Duties
- Builds rapport and trust with compliance staff while coordinating tasks for clients.
- Coordinates the process for incoming mail to ensure seamless client operations. This includes troubleshooting errors, communicating about the process and any adjustments, executing quality control, and filling in when there are gaps.
- Helps with administrative items, such as answering phones and running external errands.
Facilities Duties
- Helps to ensure a safe working environment for employees, putting in maintenance requests as necessary and coordinating service.
- Responsible for inventory management and making sure the office is fully stocked with the necessary supplies and equipment.
- Helps to coordinate projects related to information technology or cyber security.
- Needs to be able to lift moderately sized office equipment.
Human Resources Duties
- Helps to onboard new employees, training them on our systems, and integrating them into CCA’s culture.
- Helps to coordinate team building activities and other engagements.

Requirements
Education and Experience
The successful candidate has at least 5 years of experience in an operations or administrative support role and at least 2 years of management experience. Experience handling mail and money is preferred, as well as experience within a hybrid remote office.
