- Field Organizer / Community Evangelist (Contract, Performance-Based)
Description
About Us:
My Voice Counts is a startup. Our app lets organizers, politicians, campaigns, and NGOs ask their audience any question and get results that can't be faked. Real numbers, in real time, on any issue their community cares about. No more guessing what people think. We're building our presence in the U.S. now, ahead of the 2026 elections.
What You'll Do:
This is not a desk job. You go to big gatherings, national conferences, party conventions, advocacy summits and you talk to everyone there. You explain what the app does, show it on your phone, and make it clear why it's useful for them: real feedback from their community, results nobody can fake, and people they can bring together around the questions that matter to them. But talking is not the goal, the goal is getting organizers onto the app
- Go to big conferences, conventions, and political events. The rooms where consultants, campaign staff, NGO leaders, activists, and elected officials are.
- Walk up to people, start conversations, show them the app. A demo takes 2 minutes on your phone.
- Get organizers on board. Conversations only count when they end with an organizer, campaign, or NGO signed up, publishing events on My Voice Counts, and engaging their people.
- Take contacts and follow up. Calls, emails, WhatsApp, meetings. Whatever it takes to close.
- Turn every conversation into feedback. Conclude what they liked, what they asked for, why they said no.
- Bring in people from your own network too. If you know politicians, NGO leaders, or people with big communities who'd be a good fit, bring them onto the app the same way. The per-organizer bonus counts here too, you get paid the same whether they come from an event or from your own contacts.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For:
- Someone who comes from this world. Maybe you were a canvass director, a field organizer, a fundraiser, or you worked around campaigns and advocacy groups long enough that people know your name.
- You know people. Real contacts in politics, NGOs, or organizing, not just LinkedIn connections.
- You can talk to strangers without it being weird, and you know how to get to a yes without pushing too hard.
- You're attentive and motivated. You follow up on every contact, remember the details people tell you, and don't need anyone pushing you to do the work.
- You can plan your own calendar of events and you're fine traveling for the right rooms.
It helps if you've represented an organization at conferences before, or if you've used tools like Mobilize, NGP VAN, or Action Network. Not required.
Compensation:
You're paid for results. You get $1,000 for each event you work on, and around $500 for every organizer you bring onto the app. Every organizer has to be approved by us first, so we know they're the right fit. These numbers are negotiable. You also get a share of the revenue from accounts you sign. No cap on what you can earn.
