- Campaign Body Person & Call Time Manager
Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Campaign Body Person & Call Time Manager to join our campaign team immediately. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the candidate maximizes fundraising through disciplined call time while also serving as the candidate's body person during campaign events and daily activities.
The ideal candidate has previous political campaign experience, understands the importance of fundraising, and is comfortable holding the candidate accountable for completing scheduled call time. This position requires someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced campaign environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Call Time Management
- Manage the candidate's daily call time schedule and fundraising calendar.
- Prepare all call time materials, including call sheets, donor lists, briefing notes, and tracking documents.
- Sit with the candidate during call time to ensure scheduled calls are completed efficiently.
- Keep the candidate focused, on task, and accountable throughout each call time session.
- Track call outcomes, pledges, follow-up items, and donor information.
- Coordinate with campaign leadership to prioritize donor outreach and fundraising goals.
- Ensure all follow-up commitments are documented and completed promptly.
- Continuously identify ways to maximize the candidate's fundraising productivity.
Candidate Operations & Body Person Duties
- Serve as the candidate's body person during campaign events, meetings, and public appearances.
- Accompany the candidate throughout the district and provide logistical support.
- Keep the candidate on schedule and ensure smooth transitions between events.
- Coordinate event materials and assist with advance preparations when needed.
- Maintain communication with campaign staff regarding scheduling and daily priorities.
- Handle last-minute changes with professionalism and sound judgment.
Requirements
- Must be able to relocate to Nashville, TN.
- Previous political campaign experience required.
- Experience managing candidate call time or political fundraising operations strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as campaign demands require.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the district.
