Summary: 

John Beccia for Congress seeks a body person for the MA-06 congressional race. The body person travels with the candidate and manages his day-to-day logistics, schedule execution, on-site content capture, and event setup. The role requires daily photo and video documentation of campaign events for the social media operation.

Responsibilities: 

• Accompany the candidate to events, meetings, and call time; manage the daily schedule and keep events on time
• Capture photo and video at events and deliver usable content to the team for social media posting.
• Set up and break down events: tables, chairs, signage, and related materials.
• Carry and manage event materials: briefing documents, palm cards, chargers, and related items.
• Relay schedule changes and field updates between the candidate and campaign staff.
• Drive the candidate as needed; manage parking, entrances, and on-site timing.
• Prepare the candidate before events with relevant names and context.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior campaign experience.
• Able to shoot photo and video on a phone for social media use.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Able to lift and carry event equipment (e.g., folding tables, chairs, signage), up to 40 lbs.
• Available for long days, nights, and weekends.
• Punctual and dependable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems quickly.
• Calm and adaptable under pressure.
