Green & Wood Media Services seeks talented, hard-working, and kind people interested in learning the intricacies of digital media, programmatic, audience data, and advertising operations. The opportunity will include training on platforms such as Facebook Ads, Salesforce, Datorama/MCI, TargetSmart, numerous programmatic DSPs, media planning, ad operations, and more. Experience in the workforce is required. Demonstrated interest in digital advertising, marketing, math, statistics/analytics, project management, and working in a customer service-oriented environment is required.
The position will require planning, placement, and reporting on digital advertising programs for progressive organizations, non-profits, candidates for office, and political organizations. This is in addition to work planning, placing, and reporting on digital advertising campaigns for brands, retail locations, product marketers, and more. Our client base is ideologically diverse, but we only work with Democratic candidates for political office along with progressive-aligned independents when handling electoral work.

Requirements
Education Requirements
A high school diploma is required; we prefer candidates with an associate's degree or higher. No experience is required, but the ability to use core software (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.). The job will need basic computer, math, and communication skills—preference for those with some marketing experience, but not required. Interest in politics, experience with field organizing, or data is highly desirable. Experience in programmatic media is a differentiator for candidates.

REMOTE WORK REQUIREMENTS
Associates will work from home or remotely from anywhere in the U.S.. You will need to provide a stable internet connection and workspace. The company will provide a stipend for a laptop computer and high-speed internet. The company is headquartered in Des Moines, IA, and work hours will generally be between 9 AM - 5:00 PM CST. If you are based in Des Moines or Central Iowa, additional in-person meeting opportunities will be part of the role. Work may require time outside of standard business hours. Willingness to travel to meet with the Advertising Operations team 2-3x per year and an all-hands staff retreat is required. Must be based in the United States.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
In addition to being a key part of our advertising operations team, Associates will be given a stipend to take classes toward a Digital Advertising Certificate offered online through Coursera. Fellows will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one mentoring sessions with digital advertising professionals, certification in Google and Facebook Advertising, and training programs with major programmatic platforms such as The Trade Desk, Basis (Centro), OneView (Roku), and more.
Upon completion of the certificate programs with Green & Wood, you will have the skills to take on entry-level and account associate positions with major digital media firms, agencies, or media platforms.
Associates are asked to complete certification with Google Ads, Facebook, and The Trade Desk within 90 days of hiring. Green & Wood Media provides access to resources, materials, and training support.
