Description
The New York City Department of Education (DOE) is dedicated to creating and supporting partnerships among schools, families, and the community. The Division of Family and Community Engagement and External Affairs includes a diverse portfolio of offices that work to inform and develop those partnerships, including the Communications Office.
DOE’s Communications Office is looking for a web-savvy Deputy Director of Digital Communications with excellent writing skills, and web and social media talents. Under the direction of the Director of Digital Communications, the Deputy Director of Digital Communications will creatively reach the DOE’s constituents using tools like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and more, and as well as assist with the public-facing website, blog, and live webcasts.
